Guess POASBaby's Stats

Those of you who saw the debut of the HPT Showdown and OPK-as-HPT update back in November know that I'm pregnant, and I'm getting into the home stretch. I've set up an online guessing game that will serve as a "supplemental" contest from now until the baby is born.

I will continue to run monthly contests in addition to this guessing game, since I don't know when this contest will end! :) The monthly prizes will be split up; when the baby is born, the 3 individuals who guessed most closely will receive prizes (1 each from each of the sponsors) and the remaining 4 prizes will be available for winners of the other monthly contest. Thus, if the baby is born in July, there will be 3 guessing game winners and 4 monthly contest winners. If baby waits until August, July will have 7 regular monthly contest winners and August will have a split prize.

To enter the guessing game, click here. Near the upper left corner is a box to enter the name of the game; this one is "POASBaby." Click on "Enter a guess." Fill out the form with your guesses (you must include your first name, city, and state in order to qualify for prizes in my contest.) Then e-mail me with the subject line "POASBaby" with your name, city, and state so that I can match your e-mail address (sent privately) with the publicly-displayed guess. (Otherwise, I will have no way to contact the winners, or verify after the fact that a specific e-mail comes from the same person who actually made the guesses.) The game winners will be calculated by the third-party host site; the rules for scoring are explained on the guessing form.

I have included 2 freebies in the game: one, we know the baby is a girl (from 3 different ultrasounds)-- you can always lack faith in sonography and guess boy, but I'm warning you now ;) And two, my first baby was born at 39 weeks and there hasn't been an overdue baby in my family for 3 generations. There are no plans for induction or scheduled C-section at this time (if for any reason that changes, I will lock/end the contest prior to sharing the news on the message boards I visit, to avoid giving any unfair inside info to anyone!)
